On Sunday, February 15, 2015. Elizabeth Thornton, age 58, of Hempfield passed away. Daughter of the late Albert & Vinces Goralczyk. Beloved wife of Paul Thornton. Sister of Barbra (William) Boyles, Veronica (Robert) Matvey and (late) Albert (Carol) Goralczyk. Daughter-in-law of Helen Shimko and John R. Thornton. Sister-in-law-of Susan (Art) Potts, Andrew Thornton, Thomas (Jackie) Thornton, Kenneth (Mary Jo Andrews) Thornton and Catherine Wrzesinski. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Elizabeth graduated from Oakland Catholic in 1974 and obtained a bachelors degree in Accounting from Robert Morris. She was a member of Women of the Moose Lodge 86 Wilmerding, Ascension Church in Jeanette and was employed at Kennametal for over 20yrs.
