Andrew Eugene Copelli, Jr.

Andrew Eugene Copelli, Jr., 58, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 10, 2024.  Andy was a Radiology Equipment Engineer at UPMC Shadyside for 15 years.  He loved morel mushroom hunting, fishing, and spending time alone in the woods near his parents’ home.  He was also a talented photographer and loved seafood, Steven King novels, and spending time with his most precious gift of all, his daughter Mary. Andy always said, “Old people, animals, and kids love me.”  Andy will be missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Andrew “Gus” and Patricia (Schall) Copelli of Latrobe, his wife Susan (Urda) and their loving daughter, Mary Katherine of North Huntingdon. He is also survived by in-laws Ronald and Margie Urda of North Versailles, and Tracey (Urda) and Andrew Oliastro of Center Township.

    I am very sorry for your loss. Andy was a fantastic technician and coworker. He was always willing to help and had a fantastic sense of humor. His laugh was contagious and uplifting. He will be deeply missed.
