My heart goes out to the family! “Mom” Amato was such a big part of my life growing up! Heaven has a new angel!!!
“Tis a Fearful Thing.
‘Tis a fearful thing
to love what death can touch.
A fearful thing
to love, to hope, to dream, to be –
to be,
And oh, to lose.
A thing for fools, this,
And a holy thing,
a holy thing
to love.
For your life has lived in me,
your laugh once lifted me,
your word was gift to me.
To remember this brings painful joy.
‘Tis a human thing, love,
a holy thing, to love
what death has touched.”

Karen and family. My deepest condolences to you and your family. I’m sorry that I can’t be there but please know that I’m so sorry for your loss. I remember your mom from so far back that I can’t even remember how old I was when I met her. Jean was a sweet, caring and good person all around. You are in my thoughts and if you need anything, please don’t hesitate to call. Love always Lisa (Diefenderfer) Waldron.
My deepest condolences to Tony and family. I love you. Sending love and light for your loss.
Dearest Tony and Deb,
Our deepest condolences to you and the Amato family. Naim is overseas and I’m still recuperating so I can’t pay respects in person, but I’m sending my love and prayers to you. May her memory be eternal and may she rest in the arms of the Holy Theotokos.
Dear Tony and Debbie,
I am sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. It had been a long time since I’d seen her, but I remember a warm, and gentle woman. May her Memory be Eternal
