Dear Aunt Dee and Family,
It is with sincere regret and my deepest sympathy that I reach out to tell you how sorry I am to hear of Uncle John’s passing. For as long as I knew him he never let a very complicated, debilitating disease determine his life. He was highly intelligent, creative and fun. I don’t think there was anything he could’nt do. One of my personal favorites was the stereo in the house, I still believe he invented surround sound long before its time! I will cherish all the times we spent together in PA and BOS and especially the summers on the Cape. May his soul rest in eternal peace and may God continue to give you the strength and courage you will need during this profoundly difficult time.
Love always, Laurice
I will miss Uncle John very much. I would call on the phone asking to speak with aunt Dee. When he would answer, he’d say “hi red”. I knew if he was answering , she wasn’t home, and him and I would talk. We had a running joke saying that he should answer the phone saying, Dee’s answering service, how may I help you.” He was a brilliant and funny man, that will be greatly missed by many. My love and sympathy go out to his entire family. Love ,”Red”
