On Tuesday May 29, 2018. Melvin age 64 of Pitcairn, formerly of Banksville, joined our Father in heaven. He had an enormous love for life and for family and friends. He was preceded in death by mother Beatrice Elizabeth Bailey, father Robert Bailey, Brother Robert E. Bailey, and daughter Millissa Meckling. Survived by sisters, Beatrice Roberta Bailey, Malika M. Bailey and Brother Roland W. Bailey. Father of Corey Bittel, Melva Bailey, Kandi Bailey, Angela Bailey, Maria Bailey, Jessica Rockwell, Nicholas Rockwell, and Sarah Rockwell. Also survived by his loving partner Debra Rockwell, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Melvin was employed by Quality Service, St Moritz, Alcoa/Arconic, and Thermal Industries. He will be remebered for his smile and positive attitude. He was adventurous arriving at Woodstock at age 12. He could “pop wheelies” better than most. Melvin was amazing on the drums and harmonica. He was very athletic in football, baseball, and was wicked with a snowball or a crabapple. He loved roller skating, camping fishing, shooting pool, and Budweiser. We are all blessed to have known him. Rest in Peace.
