James F. Kutch, Sr. attended Youngstown State University earning an Associate Degree in Business Management. James, Sr. later attended The Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and obtained his Funeral Director license from the State of Pennsylvania in 1975. That same year, he opened his first funeral home in Rankin, Pennsylvania. In 1987, the Kutch service to the community grew with the purchase of the Stanley T. Frederick’s Funeral Home located in East McKeesport, Pennsylvania.

James F. Kutch, Jr. marks the second generation of service to the Mon Valley communities. James, Jr. earned an Associates Degree in Business Management from the Community College of Allegheny County. James, Jr. later attended The Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science earning his Funeral Director license from the State of Pennsylvania in 1992.
