On Friday August 28, 2015, Donald of East McKeesport passed away. Loving husband of 63 years of Theresa (Swacus) Beloved father of Virginia (David) Rowe, Donald Heckenstaller, David (Kathleen) Heckenstaller, and Craig Heckenstaller. Grandfather of Nathan (Casey Rowe), and Emily Rowe. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Don graduated Scott High School in 1948 and Duquesne University. A proud Korean War veteran, Don served in the Navy. He had 32 ½ years with Peoples Gas. Don was a member of Wilmerding Lions Club, Braddock Knights of Columbus Council 911, and the St. Roberts Men’s Club. He enjoyed Golfing, Bowling and was an avid Pirate, Penguin, and Steelers fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and helping out at Heckey Graphics.

Mass of Christian Burial
Tuesday 10:00am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Burial will follow with full military honors at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
