Jonah Matthew Morris, Age 16 months old was wrapped in the arms of the angels on October 7, 2026. Born on May 28, 2025.
Jonah was more than just a son. He was a blessing, a precious gift, and a love that words could never fully explain. No matter how much time passes, the memories we shared with him will remain treasures in our hearts. His name will continue to be spoken with love, his memory will live on through those who knew him, and his beautiful soul will never be forgotten.
Losing Jonah has left an emptiness that can never truly be filled. There are no words to describe the pain of saying goodbye to someone so deeply loved. Although we wish we could have more time with him, we are grateful for the time we were blessed to have him.
During his 16 short months on Earth, Jonah lived a life full of big adventures and even bigger smiles. He loved watching anything that spun in circles, watching his favorite cartoons Ms. Rachel, Dancing Fruit, Veggietale Bible Stories, and Bluey. He loved listening to his favorite songs “The Hanging Tree”, “Jesus Loves the Little Children” and anything else with a good beat. He could brighten the darkest room, and someone across the world could catch it. Though his time was far too brief, Jonah’s impact on his family was immeasurable.
Jonah is survived by his parents, Natajiae Morris of Greensburg, PA and Damien Walsh and wife Arianna of Carnegie, PA; his big brothers and sisters, Akita, Aubriel, Ayanna, Aryan, AZiya, and Ariyah; his maternal grandfather, Nathaniel Jones of Pittsburgh, PA; paternal grandparents, Robert Law of Pittsburgh, PA and Kristy Walsh of Pittsburgh, PA; and his Guardian family Alberto, Tammie, Rebecca, Sarah, and Michael Morales and Melinda Uncapher of Jeannette, PA; along with multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.
