David Kenvin Williams

David Kenvin Williams age 86 went to be with his Lord on September 30, 2026 after a long hard fought battle with cancer.

Dave was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Fitzpatrick Williams; father John E Williams; mother R. Ruth Williams whom he cherished and brothers Robert and Richard.

Dave is survived by his “girlies” (daughters) Sherrie and husband Pat who Dave loved as a son, Becky Williams and Missy DeLisi; his devoted and greatly loved partner Sue Pisowicz and brothers Barry (Donna) Williams, Jack Williams and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dave took great pride and joy in being a very loving and involved Pap to Amber (Jolly) Gruss, Katey (Roberto) Gonzalez, Adrienne DeLisi, Brian Standfest and Abby DeLisi: and Great Pappy to Jaxon Gonzalez, Zoe Gonzalez, Ivy Gonzalez, Pepper Gonzalez, Isaac Gruss, Gwedollyn Gonzalez, Scarlette Ulichney, Silas Gruss, Cain Gonzalez, Maevis Gonzalez, Emma Gruss and Olive Gonzalez.

Dave deeply loved his family and could be heard saying “I can’t believe I started all of this love” when he was with them. His passing will leave a tremendous void, but his love and devotion will live on in the hearts of all of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dave was a proud steelworker. He was a talented blacksmith that trained young blacksmiths and developed many items including parts for trains and the railway system.

Dave enjoyed square dancing with Sue even with his lack of rhythm. He lived watching and attending Pitt football games with his daughter Becky and playing volleyball. He was a lover of food. He liked trying new flavors and cuisines. This was always done with a good dark beer especially Guinness and a twinkle in his eye.
Dave loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener. He not only brightened the world with his flowers and gardens but most importantly with his kindness, compassion and generosity. He will truly be missed by all of his family and many friends. Because Dave loved seeing flowers grow, he requested that flowers not be sent to his memorial. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens one of his favorite places.
