June 24, 1966 – August 24, 2026
Sam Juliano, beloved son, brother, uncle, partner, friend, public servant, and cherished member of his community, passed away suddenly on August 24, 2026, at the age of 60.
Sam dedicated much of his life to serving others. He proudly served as a North Versailles Township Commissioner beginning in 2009, later serving as Vice President of the Board of Commissioners for multiple years. Since 2017, Sam was a member of the State Committee, serving as President of the Committee for two of those years. He also proudly served as Treasurer of the VFW Post 781 Riders Group.
For Sam, public service was more than a position—it was a way of life. He believed in giving back, helping those in need, and doing whatever he could to support the people and community around him. If someone he loved needed something, or if someone in his community needed a helping hand, Sam was there.
Sam had a tremendous love for his family and friends. He enjoyed laying out in the sun, spending time at camp, riding his motorcycle, driving his Camaro, and taking great pride in his pickup truck. He especially loved taking vacations to Ocean City, Maryland, creating memories that will be treasured by those who shared them with him.
Sam had a rare ability to see the best in people. He possessed a huge, gentle heart and soul, and his kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others touched countless lives. His presence could light up a room, and his laughter, friendship, and unmistakable personality will be deeply missed.
Sam is survived by his beloved girlfriend, Dehandrea “Dee” Tamsula; his uncle, Myron Juliano, and his wife, Mary “Bootsie”; his aunt, Loretta Juliano; and his cousins Patrick Juliano, Michael Juliano and his wife, Hailey, and Robert Juliano and his wife, Shannon.
He is the beloved son of the late William and Annette Henshawe and grandson of the late Thelma Juliano.
He is also survived by his brother, Daniel Henshawe and his wife, Janet, and his children, Jordan and Kayla Henshawe; his sister, Tammy Howard and her husband, Scott, and children, Jason Henshawe, Danielle Henshawe, and Ashley Howard; and his sister, Kimberly Henshawe, and her children, Brendon Henshawe, Ciera Clifton, and Kara Clifton and her children, along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who were fortunate to know him.
Sam will be remembered not only for the titles he held, but for the person he was—the man who showed up, who helped others, who loved deeply, and who always tried to see the good in people.
Commissioner Juliano will be greatly missed by so many, but he will never be forgotten. His heart touched many lives, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him.
Rest peacefully, Sam. Your service to your community may have ended but the impact you made will remain.

Many Blessings to Sams Family… His awesome obituary sums it up! And much more! I met him when i was around 12 yearss old, through my sister Jeanine. He soo Loved his family especially his gram Thelma. Knowing how caring and loving he was to her. Showed how he would love others and help anyone! He was definitely the ultimate person and will always be remembered and cherished. Thank you Sam for all you did for everyone. Rest in Peace and relax with your Gram and your mom! We all Love you forever and always! 🙏💕.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family and Dee, Sam. You have been a good and faithful servant. Your love for your Aunt and Uncle was unmeasurable making sure you drove them to OC in your Uncle Car, Your love for your mother always talking on how she would make camp special. The love your grandparents gave you what you give others back. Your every detail you gave to your vehicles just like to everything you touched. I know your with your lil furbaby that you loved so much. The last election I told you everything would work out for the greater good and it did. You were where you needed to be for your community and then Dee was by your side destined to be. It is better to have loved, then to have never loved at all. Cherish every memory, every laugh, every smile and every moment they are in your heart forever like an imprint. Dee you completed his world. Rest in Peace Sam, we know that you are safely home in the arms of the Lord.

A persons mark on life and the way they are remembered is the measuring stick of one’s life. Sam lived a shortened but successful life. Family, friends, God and country meant so much to Sam. He will be missed but won’t be forgotten. God speed Sam until we jet ski in the sky one day. My condolences to all.
