Thomas J. Demis Sr., 90, of North Versailles, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026 at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville. Born May 8, 1936 in Glassport, PA, he was the son of the late John D. Demis and Mary T. Budka. He married Betty J. Eicher on August 23, 1955 and she preceded him in death.
Tom was an auto mechanic for Rick Hall Auto Service in Turtle Creek for over 25 years and was retired.
He is survived by sons, Thomas J. Demis Jr (Pamela) of Marion, OH, Timothy F. Demis of Turtle Creek and a daughter, Susan M. Hicks of Lorain, OH; grandchildren, Jay, Ben, Billy, David and Lauren; great-granddaughter Olivia; sisters, Jacqueline Gibala (Ted), Phyllis Dodson (Mike), Sharon Forkey (Richard), and Terry Skibinski (Rick); many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister Elizabeth Grance, brothers Anthony, Joseph, and twin brother John.
Arrangements
There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh. Interment will be at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntington.
