
March 1, 1951 – July 17, 2026
Daniel D. Kelly, of McKeesport, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the age of 75. Dan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose greatest joy in life was the love of his family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eileen P. Kelly, his parents David and Lois Kelly, and his brothers James and Thomas Smith.
Dan is survived by his loving daughters, Jennifer L. Brenizer (Dave) and Danielle M. Bankosh (Ted). He was the proud Pap Pap of Madison, Makenzie, Makayla, Mitchell, Christine (Jon) and Justin. He was also blessed with one great-grandson, lan. Dan surrounded himself with these wonderful kids who brought him immense joy.
Dan was a hardworking, dedicated, and passionate machinist for his entire career where he recently retired from Clark Testing. Being a mechanist was not just a job to Dan, he took such pride in his workmanship and everything he accomplished in his life. He truly loved what he did for a living.
Dan was an avid sports fan, especially for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. His famous catchphrase was “Let’s go Buccos.” He also enjoyed riding his bike, washing his car, miniature golfing, swimming, going to Wildwood, New Jersey with his family for vacation, and the Meadows weekly to play the slot machines.
Dan will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family. His presence, guidance, and the memories he created with those he loved will be treasured forever. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten and always in our hearts forever.

I’ll send my condolence to the family Work with Danny many of years you taught me a lot at Clark testing. You are going to be well. Miss my friend. I will never forget the laughs between me and you. thank you so much for being a wonderful friend and a coworker. and don’t forget to grab the bat that’s hanging on the wall at Clark testing. Sorry to hear about Dan.My wife and I grew up in Crawford Village together with Dan.He was a good friend and we will always remember the good times we had.Rest in Peace.
