Carole Bushak

February 18, 1943 – July 21, 2026

Carole Bushak age 83, of Swissvale, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 21, 2026. Born February 18, 1943 in Rankin, PA. Carole was preceded in death by her mother, Mary (Kopcho) Bushak and her sister Helen Marie Bushak. Carole was a lifelong member of Saint Michael’s Orthodox Church where she served as parish council president for over a decade. Her devotion to her church was unwavering, from serving as Sunday school teacher to sitting on several committees throughout the years to taking pride in making the church hall always look welcoming. Carole also served as a member of the Monongahela Cemetery Association where she helped ensure the preservation of the grounds. Carole was the matriarch of the family and took great pride in being a Godmother, Great Aunt, Aunt and Cousin to her large loving family. Carole knew every family member birthday and a card full of confetti from her become a beloved family tradition. Carole was loved by all and will truly be missed.

Panachida Prayer Service to be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by 10am Mass at Saint Michael’s Orthodox Church in Rankin. Gravesite burial at Monongahela Cemetery to follow.
