Robert (Bob) Leo Fedore was born on November 10, 1942, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Air Force at Dow Air Force Base in Bangor, Maine. Bob spent more than 30 years on Giant Eagle’s management team and remained loyal to the company even after retirement.
Bob had a remarkable gift for connecting with others. He was quick with a joke and loved sharing stories that made people laugh. Golf was one of his greatest passions, and on the course, he was known by friends as “Butcher.” He treasured the friendships and memories made throughout the years. At 81 years old, he was especially proud of the incredible accomplishment of making 3 hole-in-ones in a single season.
More than anything, Bob loved his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Sheryl Ann Fedore, and their three children: Robert Fedore (Katy), Jason Fedore, and Brian Fedore (Renee). He is survived by his daughters, Gina Sands (Robert) and Lisa Van Voorhis. Bob cherished his grandchildren: Sarah, Ava, Adyson, and Vada. He will be fondly remembered by his sister Mary Ellen Petrilli, his brothers Frank Fedore and Michael Fedore, and many adored nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother John Fedore, sister Elizabeth Wargo, and parents, John and Ellen Marie Fedore.
Arrangements
Bob will be cremated at Kutch Funeral Home. His family will share details of a celebration of his life at a later date. He will be deeply missed, and his spirit will live on through the many stories and wonderful memories shared by all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace with the Lord.
