Nancy L. Curry of Pleasant Hills, PA, surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully at the age of 76 from natural causes on April 24, 2026.
Nancy, born October 21, 1949, was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, Grandmother, mother in-law, friend and a devoted mother to her son David, her pride and joy. She always said David’s birth changed her life for the better, and David felt that in the love and support she provided. She was always David’s biggest cheerleader, no matter the situation or event.
Nancy’s working career spanned several decades as a home economics teacher, a substitute teacher, a retail employee and as a customer service representative. But her true passion was celebrating and decorating for all the seasons and holidays throughout the year.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father Robert Leichliter, her mother Mary Leichliter and her sister Brenda Clark. She is survived by her son David Curry, her brother Ronald Leichliter, her sisters Donna Gouker and Joyce Grace, her nieces Kathy, Rana, Brandy, and Dawn, her nephews Jeff, Alex, Rob, and Erik, her two loving Grandchildren Theo and Cassidy and her daughter in-law Pamela Curry. They will never forget the love and joy she brought to their lives.
