Louise (“Daisy”) Blasik 

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Louise (“Daisy”) Blasik of East McKeesport, PA on October 5, 2024, at the age of 85.  Daisy was a retired Registered Nurse of 39 years at St. Margaret’s Memorial Hospital, which was a great source of pride to her.  She excelled in her career as she was a wonderful caregiver beloved by her patients and always strived to improve her knowledge and skills.  Daisy was a strong, proud woman admired by many.  She raised a family on her own under less than ideal circumstances and did her children extremely proud.  Her truly unique humor and wit were a true gift to anyone fortunate enough to know her.  She kept everyone laughing.  In her spare time Daisy enjoyed camping, cooking, trying her luck at the casino and a good crossword puzzle.  Daisy also contributed to many charities as it was important to her to do her small part to ensure those less fortunate were taken care of.  Daisy was deeply beloved and survived by her children Deborah (Matthew) Medved and Michele (Joseph) Blasik-Miller.
