On Wednesday May 31, 2023. Daniel “Dan” age 63 of Irwin passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Loving son of the late Mario and Evelyn (Mastele) Castelli. Loving companion of Kailie Ann Wehrer and her daughter Mackenzie King. Dear brother of Tony Castelli, Joe Castelli, and Martin (Tracey) Castelli. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Dan taught Automotive Repair at Rosedale Tech. He also worked for Goodyear and Firestone over the years as a mechanic. He enjoyed Baseball and was an avid Pirate fan. Dan loved his Mustangs and burning tire!!!

I Remer seeing him at school but we never spoke. My wife marina and I are saddened that he passed so quickly. Our sympathy goes out to his loved ones. He will be missed but always remembered! Hal and marina leonard
Mr. C was my teacher….and my mentor during my time at Rosedale over 10 years ago…..to this day I am still doing what he loved…and some days hated…. everyday successfully because he passed on some of his knowledge to me. A good portion of my success in life….is because of him….my heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones!
Rosedale tech is my alma mater. I studied industrial electric. The thing about rosedale tech is that everyone across all programs and departments knows each other whether they met them or not. Despite never meeting mr castelli, I’ve been told by multiple people that he was the best mechanic they ever met in their life and I am deeply saddened by this loss. My sincere thought, prayers and sympathies go to mr castellis family
