Frank Cenna, 69 of Clarksville, MD and formerly Port Vue, PA died April 5, 2023. He is survived by his sister Jocelyn Cenna and companion Gus Rivas of Clarksville, MD, sister Melissa & husband Dean Edmundson of Leesburg, VA. Nephew Logan Edmundson, and niece Bailey Edmundson also of Leesburg, VA. He was preceded in death by his father Francis J. Cenna, mother Maralyn (Berdis) Cenna, and sister Andrea Cenna. Frank was a graduate of Serra High School and obtained his BA degree in English from Penn State University. He served as a volunteer Ambassador for Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Alliance TSC Clinics located at the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD. Frank received the TSC Alliance 2021 Keith Hall Award for Distinguished Leadership in appreciation for his extraordinary commitment to the TSC Adult community.
Frank truly was a “special guy” who touched the lives of many in various ways. He was funny, intelligent, lovable, and always happy! Frank loved to travel, with some of his favorite places being London, San Francisco, Southern California, and Texas. He wrote and published poems and loved drawing cartoon caricatures. He was especially good atcrossword puzzles because he remembered everything. Music was his passion. He played the electric guitar and loved 70’s hard rock music – especially Hawkwind. Frank always said he was the “6th Guy” of the 5 Guys burger chain – as he loved their burgers and milkshakes! And as a true Pittsburgher should, he loved the Penguins, Pirates and Steelers!

So Sorry to hear of the loss of Frank. I have fond memories of him at St Joseph School in Port Vue. Your family was always kind, generous, and friendly to me as a paperboy from Dersam St. for a number of years.
God Bless You All, and God Bless Frank
Patrick Gill
