Jo Anne Jurella, 82, of Braddock, passed away peacefully Friday, February 3, 2023. Loving or Kellie (Richard) Kapaldo and David Ludwig. She was the beloved sister of Bonnie Linsenbigler. Jo Anne suffered the loss of her beloved sisters, Hazel Mae Smith, Ruth Jurellaand her beloved brother, Stephen Joseph Jurella. Beloved grandmother of Autumn and Jaclynn. Great-Grandmother of Bailey, Briella, Laila, Jordan, Noah, and Abel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

She was a prominent figure in our family. I will remember her lovely face and gorgeous smile. Her laughter, wise-cracks, and tremendous presence seemed to be enjoyed by many. I’m thankful for the years that she and her niece, Cheryl, shared over Cheryl’s lifetime.
My Aunt Joanne lived as she died, shrouded in secrecy.
Truly, there was sadness to have heard just a few days ago about the passing of my aunt. She lived as she died, in a shroud of secrecy.

Aunt Jo Anne you are missed . I have recalled the times we were together for family gatherings and your tales about our family which I enjoyed and wished I had on paper. . You were funny and bigger than life .
