On Wednesday October 19, 2022, Emilia “Millie”age 89 of North Versailles passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
Daughter of the late John & Julia Sawczyn; beloved wife of the late Edward L Phillips; loving mother of Edward (Diane) of McKeesport, Valerie (Robert) of Saltsburg, Diane (James) of Manor, and Karen of Bridgewater, NJ; dear grandmother of Jason, Derek, Jared, and Devan (Corey); great grandmother of Peyton, Caden, and Colton; step-grandmother of Janelle (Eric Legg) and Mark Flaherty; step-great-grandmother of Gwen and Eryk Legg; sister of Rose (Thomas Guerrieri) and Kathryn (Dr. Michael Warhol); sister-in-law of Patricia Wankulitz. Emilia was preceded in death by siblings, Walter, Julie, and Kathleen Sauchin.
Millie was a wonderful woman who enjoyed all the simple pleasures in life and lived life to the fullest. Her family, friends and church were the most i2portant aspects of her life. Millie had many interests and hobbies throughout the years. She enjoyed, cooking, baking, bowling, reading, bingo, playing cards and attending her grandsons baseball/football games and wrestling matches. She was also a huge Pittsburgh sports fan, watching all the Pirate, Penguin, Pitt and Steeler games. Millie loved volunteering and helping out at Saint Michaels church. She will be dearly missed.

Divine Liturgy is at 11 am and private burial will follow.
