Richard “Rick” McCarthy passed away on September 14, 2022 at the age of 69. He was husband of the late Geri McCarthy, son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth McCarthy. He is survived by his son Michael and daughter Christine, brother Joseph (Joanne) McCarthy, sisters Lynda (Albert) Kianese: Kathleen, (Late Ricardo) Robbibaro and nieces and nephews. Rick graduated from Gateway Technical School and enjoyed working at Bell Television as Electronic Technician. There wasn’t a television he couldn’t fix. He was a devout Catholic, loved his family, baseball, fishing and bowling.

My dear brother your struggles and suffering are over. You have inspired me through your example that God is always with us even in great sorrow, and when so many people abandoned you. You never gave up your faith and love for God. We love you and will miss you each and every day, until we see you again. You were our precious gift. As in Luke you were carried away by the Angels to the bosom of Abraham. Fly high my sweet brother.
To one of my sweetest cousins may you rejoice in our Lords house. My deepest condolences to Joe, Lynda and Kathy and his family he leaves behind.
