Sending my sincere condolences to the family of the beloved ! May he Rest In Peace.
It was my privilege to work with Mike during his civilian career. He will be fondly remembered for cooking dinners is his little toaster oven for his teammates on the watch. Mike and his wife Cathy had big hearts and once you were a friend they treated you like family. In the last few years Mike would send me clipping from the food pages of the
Pittsburgh newspaper. We spoke regularly and he always asked after my mom, sister and nephews. My condolences to Michelle, Marie, David and the extended family. I will miss Mike very much.

Mike sold me my first house. I remember he was originally from Swissvale PA. Great guy, lots of laughs with him. I remember back in the day when we were on post together he loved to read the paper to me. He also loved to reminisce about the 1960 Pirates World Series victory. I am saddened to hear of his passing but he will be reunited with the love of his life, Cathy whom he always talked about so lovingly.
