I love you & always will! You’re my best friend, soul mate & love of my life. Thank you for giving me the best years of my life & showing me what true love is. I hope to be able to spend eternity with you whenever it is my time to be with the Lord too. Please be there waiting for me at the gates of heaven. I still have a lot of things to do down here but I long for the day to be with you again! Meeting Jesus will be absolutely amazing too! If you’re able to, please come down to visit me often, watch over me and guide me. I wish you didn’t have to leave this earth so soon. You’re the funniest, strongest, kindest & most caring person I’ve ever met. We complimented each other perfectly & made an awesome team. I’ve never met anyone who had so much in common with me or understood me like you did. I’m so heartbroken to lose your earthly presence but you will always remain with me. I love & miss you so much!!!

Kristy, it has taken me a few days to collect my thoughts and post this. I worked with Dave at Joseph Horne’s department store for several years until a career change in 1989 took me away from the area for a few years. Upon my return, I would regularly meet up with Dave at local gun shows where we shared our mutual appreciation for military history. I belatedly wish that we had spent more time together over these many years. I am very sorry for your loss, and will remember Dave with a smile on his face.
