Lorraine A. Boberg (McGowan)

Lorraine A Boberg (McGowan),73, sadly passed away Monday evening, March 29, 2021. 

The loving wife of John A Boberg. They shared 44 years of marriage. They are long time residents of Wilmerding, PA.

Beautiful mother of 3 daughters – Christine and Mike Driscoll of North Versailles, Melissa and Matt McBride of Cleveland, Ohio, Patricia and Brian Dudley of North Huntington.

Sweet grandmother to 6 grandchildren. Nicolas (Alyssa) Shelley, Devin and Brady Novack and Kendall, Logan and Kayla Dudley.

She just recently became a Great-Grandmother to sweet baby girl Ryley Shelley and was anxiously anticipating the arrival of her first precious great grandson Kolsyn Novack. 

Predeceased by her parents, Loretta and Joseph McGowan of Lawrenceville. She was the oldest of five siblings. Judi Brakalov, Denise (Leonard) Gallick, Sandra Montgomery and Joseph (Janet) McGowan Jr. 

She loved to sew, knit, crochet and just create things that brought everyone happiness.

She was loved and will be missed by so many.

Arrangements

There will be a service for at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 11:00 am. Due to COVID, it is limited to immediate family.

    So sorry for your loss. . Seems like not that long ago we were all playing cards above your grams house on Camelia St. at Lorraines apartment. . How did 50 plus years go by so quickly. It’s sad how we lose touch with each other. May she Rest In Peace.
