On Friday April 9, 2021. Gary age 84 of East McKeesport passed away peacefully at home. Son of the late Floyd and Ruth Marts. Beloved father of John (Joann) Marts, Donald (Christine) Marts, Ron (Mala) Marts, Randy Marts, and Grant (Tiffani) Marts. Dear grandfather of Jayme, Nick, Lyndsey, Lee, Alana, Marshall, Sydney, Sierra, Nicholas, Katy, Evianna, Valerius, and Monroe. Also 10 great-grandchildren. Gary was preceded in death by brother Deane and sons Ronald and Richard. Gary was a lifelong member of the McKeesport Gun Club and former owner of Marts Drilling.

Gary will be laid to rest at Penn Lincoln memorial Park.

Gary was one of my oldest friends. I knew him since since before I was a teenager we would hang out at the gun club or meet up every now and then for some food. He has been my friend for the last 25ish years. Gary was always good for advice on anything, and he had the most interesting stories I have ever heard. I will really miss Mr. Marts.
