Joseph D. “Uncle Joe” LaGorga, Jr.

On Tuesday February 2, 2021.  Joseph, Jr age 71 of North Versailles passed away.  Beloved son of the late Joseph D. and Bernadette “Bernie” (Tomko) LaGorga.  Brother of Anthony LaGorga, John (Beverly) LaGorga, and Anita (Michael) Holland.  Dear Uncle of Jeremy LaGorga, Ryan Holland, and Cory Ann Holland.      Joe worked as a school bus driver for Serra Catholic.  He loved getting to know the kids.  Joe enjoyed Golfing, Baking, and watching sports. He was a member of St Roberts Men’s Club, serving his church at the Fish Fry’s, Oldie’s dance’s and making Pizza Fritas during the festival.  He served in the Air Force 1967-71.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10am St Robert Bellarmine Church.  Mary Mother of God Parish.

Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery with full military honors.  

Due to the current health concerns, capacity at the funeral home is limited to 50% occupancy (50 people at a time) and masks will be required.  PA Dept of Health and CDC guidelines will be followed.
